Another way in which Pres. Bush has weakened us

In 1992, responding to the worst natural disaster in American History (Hurricane Andrew) Pres. H.W. Bush activated 30,000 troops and 6,000 national guardsmen.

In 2005, Louisianna is only able to activate 3,500 troops for a Hurricane likely to thoroughly beat Andrew in damages and deaths. I don't believe for a second that we have 30,000 troops to send to the area.

Where's the President? In California of all places.

Let me be very clear. I am not blaming Bush for Hurrican Katrina. I am angry because his stupid, stupid, stupid war in Iraq has made us unable to properly respond to this terrible disaster.
