The feedback call

I just finished a delightful 30-minute phone conversation with my contact at the national DFA. I passed on all of our group's feedback from the meeting on the 4th as well as the feedback from the blog comments.

One good suggestion that came from passing on Johnnie's "DFA Red State Caravan" idea was for us to call up Jim Hightower or Molly Ivins and get them up to Lubbock for a speaking gig sponsored by our local group. I say we give this idea some serious thought.

I am still trying to get a meeting set up with Neugebauer's staff about the Downing Street Memo. I know we anticipated having our meeting today, and I apologize for the delay in setting this up. I am pushing now for a meeting at the end of next week.

September's meetup agenda looks absolutely wonderful for our group.

I don't know about Ivins, but Hightower pulls in $10k per performance - plus you provide a room, a car, and assessories.

No wonder he's not interested in politics anymore.
